The Northern Lights on the evening of 31st October were incredible and i was lucky to photograph them. My mother came over for a week and unfortunately we were unable to see them due to the unfavorable weather conditions but on the eve of her flight we had some of the best NL formations this Autumn.
Gorgeous shots! I was on the trip with the Blue Whales on October 18th and overheard how excited you were to have your mother come visit-glad she got to see this awesome sight!

DeleteHow incredible were those Blue Whales. It was the first time on the 4th October that i have ever seen a blue whale and it was even nicer that we could see them a few more days after too. The Northern lights were beautiful and i was particularly amazed by how bright they were in the city. Unfortunately my mother didn't get to see them as she left in the morning and that evening they came out. Hopefully next time. Anyway glad to hear you had a great time.
